Do not regret growing
older. It's a privilege denied to many.

She
Sat Alone
She
sat alone in the rocking chair, mourning,
the
emptiness of her life in despair;
People
went by her and just shook their heads--
"poor
old woman, she'd be better off dead!"
She
sat alone in her rocking chair,
Just
wishing someone would take time to share
Just
a moment of time in their busy day
With
a lonely old woman with so much to say.
She
could tell them the stories of when she was ten
And
the interesting things that had happened since then.
She
had so much to tell, so much knowledge of living
But
nobody stopped to take of her giving.
She
sat all alone, day after day,
A
lonely old woman with so much to say,
When
they found her, forever asleep in her bed,
Those
poor selfish people just shook their head.
"Poor
old woman, she's better like this".
Never
to know...all the wealth they had missed.
